2Description of Service

Clique is a collaborative trip planning and expense tracking application that allows users to:

• Create and join groups for trips and shared activities
• Track and split expenses among group members
• Create polls for group decision-making
• Share notes, checklists, and itineraries
• Invite friends via shareable links

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

3User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly update your account information if it changes
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in any fraudulent or harmful activity.

4User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use the Service for any fraudulent or deceptive purposes, including creating false expense records
• Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent

5Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding user-generated content), features, and functionality are owned by Clique and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the software, unless applicable laws prohibit these restrictions or you have our written permission.

6User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create or share through the Service, including notes, expenses, polls, and other user-generated content ("User Content").

By posting User Content, you grant Clique a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license ends when you delete your User Content or your account.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting it. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to post your User Content.

7Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected

Clique is a tool to help track and split expenses among friends. We are not a financial institution and do not provide financial advice. You are responsible for verifying all expense calculations and settlements.

8Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CLIQUE, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Any content obtained from the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the past twelve months.

9Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We may also notify you through the app or by email.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.
